ICMOVPE Media Contest!
ICMOVPE XV: Media Contest
May 23-28, 2010 • Hyatt Regency, Lake Tahoe
“MOVPE – The Good, the Bad and the Ugly… And the Future,” is the theme of a light-hearted contest for conference attendees aimed at reflecting on the world of MOVPE where experimentation and the material outcomes can be good, sometimes bad and often downright ugly.
HOW TO ENTER
The deadline to enter is May 25.
Original submissions in the form of humorous videos, cartoons, poems, haikus or any other creative media will be accepted through Tuesday, May 25.
Video submissions will be posted on the playlist on the ICMOVPE YouTube Channel. All other media entries or questions should be submitted to ICMOVPE-XV Media Contest Contact Zac Lochner at zlochner@gatech.edu. To submit a video:
Create a YouTube account or use your existing one
Upload the video to your account
Send the link along with your name and contact information to Zac Lochner with “ICMOVPE Contest” as the subject
JUDGING AND PRIZES
Judging
Preliminary judging will be held prior to the International Advisory Committee meeting on May 26 at 6 p.m. The finalists’ entries will be presented to the IAC, which will make the final winning selections.
Prizes
Winners will be announced and an Apple iPad awarded during the conference banquet on Thursday, May 27.

All videos must comply with the YouTube Terms of Service. By entering the contest you certify the video is original and does not infringe on copyright and trademark laws. You agree that the ICMOVPE Organizing Committee may advertise or promote your video and host the videos, or links to them. All films become the property of the ICMOVPE Organizing Committee.
